Not a weapon but I figure if most of my followers have firearms, some have a desire for survival gear as well. The Lifesaver Jerrycan can filter out all currently known viruses, bacteria, fungi and parasites from fresh water. This gives you a 5 gallon supply of water for drinking, cooking, even bathing pump & shower feature. The filter can go through about 5,300 gallons before needing replacement. It should be noted that it cannot filter salt water, heavy metals or radioactively contaminated sources.
A bit pricey at around $250+, but considering what it does, to some people it’s worth every penny.
On my radar: The Skinth
While there are several companies with unique EDC storage solutions, the Skinth is definitely on my wish list. Available in various sizes and colors, it’s essentially customizable in every way. My favorites are the Juice Box, the Smartphone, and the Trail Blazer (pictured above). I also appreciate that it can be worn on a belt or clipped to the inside of a bag.
Customer testimonies acknowledge the high quality of the product, and the price—some items start as low as $12—is hard to beat.
